Going back to this amazing experience of being a student at Fashion Workshop, only brings joy and endless smiles. Coming to think about it, it all started here, the journey as I would like to call it. New horizons, unlimited knowledge, passionate people. From Vicky, to the professors to us. Sharing, mentoring, pointing to the right direction. That’s the goal after all.
One cannot really count what you earn and learn. You observe it as you go along. Inspiration above all. Passion to move forward with your dreams. Friendships that last through years. And the fact that so many different personalities and styles mixed together could co-exist, help and create amazing concepts. We were one, one team, all of us.
After graduating from Fashion Workshop, a Marie Claire internship started, a great opportunity to learn how magazines operate and working (yet once again) with the best of the industry.
Currently working in AMPR, a Public Relations agency based in New York with international clientele in the travel industry as Director of Special Projects and assistant to President and CEO of the company. Exposed to major brands, accounts and database, I practice my first degree in Communications. At the same time a more creative part of my life is Dea Rosa, a luxury handbag brand founded by Greek –American Andria Mitsakos. Dea Rosa recently moved the production from Milan to Athens. Working with expertly skilled artisans, finding the right materials and overseeing a design becoming reality is a very exciting journey.
Concluding this, I have to thank once again my teachers, Vicky and the super stylish friends I have for this incredible experience. It’s always a pleasure coming back and together we build amazing memories. How can I forget that during Easter break I was sewing pearl shorts for styling course? I would never.
