With an academic and professional background in the field of International Relations where she holds a Masters Degree from the March Bloch Univeristy of Strasbourg and a multidisciplinary course in the International Law section of the ICADE University in Madrid, Danai completed a Masters Degree in Fashion Communication at the Instituto Europeo di Design of Madrid in 2007.
While still a student at IED, she started working in the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Spain where she was soon entrusted the Consular Affairs, and the Cultural Agenda. She later worked for the Spanish Presidency of the EU, engaging at the same time in projects related to branding and Communication, such as the International Image of the artist Sixeart, the touristic “brand” of Cyprus in Spain etc. In 2009 Danai has worked as a Fashion Editor Assistant for the Conde Nast Traveler Magazine in Spain and in the Communication and Press of the Argentinian Brand Rapsodia.
Upon her return to Greece she worked in the organization of international events and Conferences while consulting for Independent designers. In 2012 she worked as a Production Unit Manager Assistant for the film “The Two Faces of January”. For the past two years she has been managing the luxury farm retreat Metohi Kindelis in Crete where she also developed a series of projects around gastronomy and culture
